We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to join our HR Consulting company based in Lagos. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals across various roles, driving business growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Oversee the delivery of HR consulting services to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage key client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for major clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to ensure individual and team objectives are met.
  • Streamline and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company’s services.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, delivering presentations and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional certification in HR or Business Management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in an HR consulting or related industry is highly desirable.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR software.
