Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anaesthesia during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures across various specialties.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anaesthesia plans.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.
• Manage post-operative recovery and pain relief.
• Provide critical care support in ICU and emergency situations when required.
• Supervise and mentor junior anaesthesia staff and technicians.
• Ensure adherence to medical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in hospital committees, quality assurance initiatives, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Member of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) or National Postgraduate Medical College (FMCA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience in Anaesthesia.
• Valid license to practice from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Proven expertise in general, regional, and local anaesthesia techniques.
• Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
