Primary Duties:

• Conduct and analyze a range of diagnostic imaging tests, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and mammography.
• Oversee and mentor radiographers, sonographers, and other imaging personnel.
• Provide radiological expertise to support clinical decisions in various departments such as oncology, orthopaedics, and emergency care.
• Ensure excellence in diagnostic precision, patient safety, and proper equipment operation.
• Collaborate closely with consultants to facilitate multidisciplinary patient management.
• Engage in departmental audits, clinical governance, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Support the education and training of junior doctors and technical staff.
• Keep abreast of advancements in radiology and propose updated imaging protocols or equipment enhancements as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• MBBS degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Fellowship in Radiology (FWACS, FMCR, or an equivalent credential).
• Minimum of 7 years’ clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Valid license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Advanced skills in cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI) and ultrasound.
• Excellent analytical abilities and strong communication skills.
