The role involves providing comprehensive financial services to customers, ensuring excellent relationship management, and maintaining transactions within the Bank’s risk appetite and contributing to the overall liquidity and profitability of the Bank.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of 70+ Sales Manager to drive and achieve targets for the Bank
- Drive retail business development and execute the Bank’s retail marketing plans to achieve profitability.
- Meet retail and SME financial targets through sales and cross-sales within assigned product programs.
- Manage resources (systems, processes, people) to ensure staff development and growth.
- Ensure a strong customer-focused service culture bank-wide.
- Oversee risk asset transactions to ensure quality value propositions within the Bank’s risk appetite.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored financial solutions.
- Facilitate new business through market scanning and intelligence gathering.
- Foster strong collaboration within regional retail teams to achieve set targets.
- Drive, monitor, and report on the budget performance of Regional retail businesses.
- Ensure exceptional and comprehensive customer service delivery.
- Optimize branch resources to maintain customer service standards.
- Build organizational capabilities through staff development and retention.
- Regularly monitor and manage staff performance and development.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a First Degree in any discipline. Additional qualifications are an advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in sales and marketing within a financial institution.
- Proven experience in retail banking or financial services, preferably as a Senior Sales Manage or similar role.
- Sound understanding of banking products and services, including loans, mortgages, savings accounts, and investment options.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and trust with customers.
- Proficiency in using banking software and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service within the banking or financial industry.
- Familiarity with local banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
